Hadley James Ltd is an independent service provider for the inspection and testing of lifting equipment. To make sure your company complies with the requirements of LOLER, PUWER and HSWA your Tail lifts, Hookloaders, Skip Loaders, Refuse Trucks, Cranes, Plant, Forklifts, Chains etc should be thoroughly examined and serviced regularly. Our highly trained and industry qualified engineers can cover a wide range of equipment and processes to maintain your equipment to the safest possible standards.
The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (also known as LOLER) states that:
“All equipment used for lifting is fit for purpose, appropriate for the task, suitably marked and, in many cases, subject to statutory periodic 'thorough examination'. Records must be kept of all thorough examinations and any defects found must be reported to both the person responsible for the equipment and the relevant enforcing authority.” - Health and Safety Executive
Lifting Equipment Inspection Frequency
You must have your lifting equipment inspected and/or tested by a competent person, such as a qualified Hadley James engineer, at least every 6 or 12 months, dependent on equipment type. At Hadley James Ltd, we offer planned maintenance agreements to ensure your company remains compliant with all applicable regulations which relate to lifting equipment.
Should any of your lifting equipment fail an inspection, we can undertake the repairs needed to meet LOLER testing standards. Rapid response, out of hours and contract services are available.
